Collaborative Initiatives

Rationale for establishing the Health Policy Institute of Chicago: Promote deficit reduction of medical and public health professionals, pursuant to holistic assessments of the health and well-being in black communities, associated with Nutrition, Housing, Environmental, Criminal Justice and Systemic Racism.

The Health Policy Institute of Chicago encourages collaborative associations with:

· Diverse community-based organizations

· Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), or Minority Serving Institutions (MSI)

· Public or private institutions of higher learning interested in providing a much-needed African American centric perspective for the analysis of racial/ethnic group health disparities
